What is an E-gift card?

E-gift cards are gift cards available for purchase at Eataly.com. E-gift cards are sent via email and can be redeemed at Eataly.com for online shopping.

E-Gift cards purchased on Eataly.com can be redeemed for classes and events by contacting the Events & Education team at your local store. To find the contact email for your store's Events & Education team, visit the link here.

How can I send an E-gift card directly to a recipient?

E-gift cards are automatically sent to the purchaser. If you’d like to send the e-gift card directly to the recipient, click “Send Gift Card to Friend” and fill in the recipient name, e-mail address, and any message you’d like to include.

How do I redeem an E-gift card on Eataly.com?

At checkout, select “Use gift card to check out.” Enter the E-gift card number and click “Apply gift card.” The balance of your gift card will be applied to your order total. If you have an amount left to pay for your order, you will need to enter another payment method to complete your order. If you have a remaining balance on your gift card after the order is placed, you can apply this amount towards future orders until the balance is depleted.

The E-gift card wasn’t received by me/the recipient. Why wasn’t it sent?

All E-gift cards are automatically sent via email to the address as entered. If you don’t see the message in your inbox, check the order information to make sure that you entered the email address correctly. If you don’t normally receive messages from Eataly, check your junk and spam folders, and be sure to add us to your safe senders list!

I’m trying to use my E-gift card but I got an error message saying my E-gift card is invalid. Why won’t my gift card work?

Make sure you still have a remaining balance on the E-gift card by logging into your account at Eataly.com. We also recommend copying and pasting the gift card number directly from the email to avoid any transcribing errors.

Can E-gift cards be used at an Eataly store or restaurant?

While e-gift cards are intended for online use, our USA locations do honor e-gift cards for those who wish to use them for in-store shopping or dining. Simply print your e-gift card email and present it to the Guest Relations staff, who will issue a new, physical card that can be used at any register or restaurant. This process can occur once per gift card.

Please note that we currently do not accept E-gift cards at Eataly Las Vegas and that E-gift cards and physical gift cards may not be used on third-party delivery platforms such as Caviar, Uber Eats, DoorDash, GrubHub, Postmates, Instacart, or Mercato.

I received a physical gift card; can I redeem it at Eataly.com?

Yes! Physical gift cards purchased in-store can be used for online shopping. To redeem online, please contact our Customer Service team.
