The Rosemary Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Frantoio Cutrera is made from olives grown on young and old trees of the Moresca, Tonda Iblea, Biancolilla, and Nocellara variety. The olives are hand-harvested during the month of November in the hilly and flat territory of Southeastern Sicilia. The olives are cold-pressed, giving a green, cloudy aspect to the oil. The aroma is medium intense fruity with natural notes of rosemary. On the palate, this oil is full-bodied with a balanced bitter and spicy flavor, with an intense rosemary aftertaste.
It is perfect with grilled meat or vegetables, focaccia, rice, baked potatoes, and onions. It is excellent on bruschetta and pasta or pizza!
